Capital Ale House-Downtown

The “Original” and located in the heart of Downtown Richmond. This 108 year old, 25 foot wide by half-a-city-block-long building has 46 taps, 2 cask conditioned ale hand pumps and a selection of over 200 bottled beers. A separate lower level gaming area with a pool table, four dart boards and various other games is open every night and perfect for spending time after work or late night. Our European style Beer Garden is a perfect place to dine beside the European inspired fountain. Banquets and Gatherings of up to 60 people can be accommodated in our private dining room and up to 230 in our Music Hall.
