Welcome to Banbury Place’s Mural Art Gallery! The Artist murals that were once on the outside windows of a downtown vacant building at 2 South Barstow Street have been preserved and now displayed for the public to enjoy at Banbury Place – 800 Wisconsin St., Building 6 – during business hours. Banbury Place underwent its renaissance – transformation 20 years ago from was once a Uniroyal Goodrich Tire Plant into now a mix of offices, art studios, daycare, restaurant, apartments, manufacturing, self-storage and warehousing. Banbury Place encompasses 1,900,000 square feet and is the home to over 135 businesses.

Home to an array of retail and artist shops and studios, Building 13 of Banbury Place is an iconic part of Eau Claire. Building 13 also houses part of the annual Banbury Art Crawl where visitors and shoppers can get a taste for the local art scene and chat with the artists. Visitors are also welcome to take guided tours to learn the history of Banbury Place and meet artists within the industrial walls of the building.

Before becoming the booming artist and entrepreneur haven it is today, Banbury Place, located at 930 Galloway St. in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, was the massive Uniroyal tire factory. The history of this 1.9 million square-foot factory is now honored through the Uniroyal Tire Factory Gallery, presented by Royal Credit Union and Banbury Place with support from Visit Eau Claire. The self-guided exhibit, located in Suite 29 of Building 13, was produced by Chippewa Valley Museum and is open to the public Thursday through Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. For guided tours, please contact Visit Eau Claire at 715-831-2345.

A weekly warehouse sale takes place every Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm, offering a rotating inventory with discounts of up to 85% off retail prices. The Sounds Like Summer Concert Series is Volume One's Thursday-night gig in downtown Eau Claire, Wisconsin's Phoenix Park. Local bands play to crowds of more than 1,000 people each night on the banks of the Chippewa River in June, July, and August. This series helps make Eau Claire known as a "mini-Portland". Featuring a variety of genres of music, your foot will keep tapping and your head will keep nodding along to the sweet tunes of summer.
