Altoona City Park

Altoona City Park, also known as 10th Street Park, is a neighborhood gathering place with plenty of room to play, picnic and spend time outdoors. The 5.5-acre park features two playground areas for children ages 2–12, including its recognizable climbing tower, along with a youth baseball diamond, full-size basketball court and six courts available for tennis and pickleball. Two of the courts are lighted for evening play.

Families and groups can gather around the park’s picnic tables, charcoal grills, gazebo and open green space. A reservable pavilion includes electricity, while The Fish House offers an indoor recreation and event space for larger gatherings.

Park amenities include:

Altoona City Park is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pavilion can be reserved through the City of Altoona Parks and Recreation Department.
