- All aboard for an unforgettable journey through Discovery Gateway’s *Stillson River Railroad*, the largest model train exhibit in the Intermountain West! Spanning 3,000 square feet and built to a precise O-scale (1:48), this miniature world features over 1,200 feet of track winding through handcrafted landscapes, more than 4,500 trees, 200 buildings, 200 cars, and 1,000 figurines—each detail telling a story of a bustling Virginia port city. Children and families can enjoy hands-on interactive elements, dive into a scavenger hunt, and explore the creative intersection of history, engineering, and imagination in this immersive experience.

  
**I Dig Dinos**

- Step into the shoes of a paleontologist at *I Dig Dinos*, an immersive, one-of-a-kind, hands-on dinosaur exhibit in downtown Salt Lake City! Kids can suit up with lab coats and goggles, then use tools (kid-safe versions) to dig for fossilized bones in the Dig Pit—featuring life sized dinosaur remains. Get up close with over 600 fossil and geologic specimens, examine fossils under microscopes, and explore mounted replicas of a life-size Utahraptor (the most accurate in the world!), a half-scale Pteranodon, and a mini Tyrannosaurus rex. With interactive stations, authentic tools and a vast collection of real specimens donated by renowned paleontologist Joe Dabelko, this exhibit brings science, adventure, and prehistoric discovery to life!

- Get under the hood and discover the science and engineering that make cars move! In this hands-on exhibit, kids can explore how vehicles work by changing the oil, making repairs, charging the car, and even learning how solar power can help fuel the future. Supported by Mark Miller Subaru, this interactive space sparks curiosity and inspires the next generation of innovators through playful, real-world learning.

  
**Staker Parson Construction Zone**

- Grab your hard hat and get to work in the *Staker Parson Construction Zone*! This dynamic, hands-on exhibit lets kids explore the science behind building roads, moving materials, and shaping our world. Operate kid-friendly cranes, sort rocks on a working conveyor belt, climb through an underground tunnel, and build towering structures with foam blocks. With features like an upper-level deck, light-up control panels, and real construction concepts—like how recycled materials help build roads—this exhibit sparks problem-solving, teamwork, and big dreams in every young builder.

  
**Associated Food Stores Semi Truck**

- Climb into the driver’s seat of a 17-foot-long semi-truck and discover how fresh food gets from farm to table! In this interactive exhibit kids can take the wheel, turn on the lights, talk on the radio, and then get to work unloading fruits and veggies at the loading dock. Sort produce by color, push carts along conveyor belts, and deliver food straight into the popular Macey’s Grocery Store exhibit. Along the way, children learn how farmers, drivers, and grocery teams work together in a fast-paced supply chain that keeps communities fed—and how trucks play a vital role in the journey.

Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club is an adults-only venue (21+) that spans over 17,500 square feet and features a variety of unique spaces including a polished casual restaurant, three distinctive bars, and 40+ TVs and 2 jumbo LED screens. Flanker Kitchen & Sporting Club

**Opened Feb 14, 2025 at the Gateway in Downtown Salt Lake.**

A project of the nonprofit Utah Arts Alliance, Dreamscapes is born from the imaginations of more than 100 artists, builders and audio-visual wizards. Perhaps most incredible, Dreamscapes is built using upcycled and reclaimed materials, making this Utah’s first environmentally- sustainable attraction. With partnerships from amazing organizations like 3 Form, Salt Palace Convention Center, Habitat for Humanity’s Restore and others, Dreamscapes diverts tons of waste from the landfill. The end result is a vision of beauty that knows no bounds, a manifestation all dreamers can embrace.

The immersive experience follows a dream-inspired storyline to be followed through a polychromatic labyrinth designed by artists, volunteers and audio-visual wizards. The new location is five times bigger and infinitely dreamier. Dreamscapes is appropriate for all ages!

The Depot is home to Utah's best indoor concert scene. In addition to live music, The Depot has also become a favorite location for corporate events, meetings, weddings and more. The Depot

Located in downtown Salt Lake City and the home court of the NBA Utah Jazz. The building originally opened as the Delta Center on Oct. 7, 1991. With seating capacity of about 20,000, the facility is the largest, most high-tech arena within a five-state radius and was built faster than any other arena at the time of its construction in 15 months and 24 days. The basketball court is named in honor of Larry H. Miller who spearheaded the construction of the building.

The building has played host to the 1993 NBA All-Star Weekend, two NBA Finals, the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, the 1999 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, as well as figure skating and short track speed skating events at the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. The arena has featured some of the biggest names in the music world with Garth Brooks, U2, Taylor Swift and The Rolling Stones among the largest concert draws in the arena’s history. Family-friendly events such as Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, Disney on Ice and Days of ’47 Rodeo also make annual appearances. The arena hosts about 1.8 million guests and more than 100 sports and entertainment events each year.

In the last five years, about $25 million has been injected into arena improvements. With an emphasis on enhancing the fan experience, upgrades have included an improved public address system, enlarged concourse entries with retail and food offerings, digital direction and concessions signage, the addition of the Legends Club, Fanzz stores and the expansion of the main team store, and numerous energy efficiency projects. The most significant improvement was a $15 million investment prior to the 2013-14 season for the installation of a new high definition video display system and other building infrastructure.
