the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is the longest-running cold weather bowl game in college football.  It has hosted 28 different universities and has seen 21 first-round NFL Draft picks come through.  The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is a celebration of the spirit of winter in the beautiful Idaho mountains.  That includes football.  And potatoes.

Beginning in 1997, the bowl’s mission has always been to showcase the beauty and hospitality of Boise, Idaho, while also honoring players off the field efforts. The bowl organization prides itself in offering a positive, safe and memorable week of events and competitive post season championship game for two outstanding conferences.

The roster includes five early-season college football games, 17 college bowl games, 12 college basketball events and a college softball event, which accounts for approximately 400 hours of live programming, reaches nearly 64 million viewers and attracts over 800,000 attendees each year.
