2027-2028 The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United (Recently Updated)

The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United is a multi-sport, week-long competition for athletes with a physical, visual, and/or intellectual impairment. Sports contested include archery, boccia, para powerlifting, paratriathlon and aquathlon, shooting (air rifle), swimming, track and field, and wheelchair tennis.

The below information should be used as a guide for organizations and cities interested in bidding to host The Hartford Nationals. Move United will evaluate bids with consideration for the following:

-Accessible venues and hotel properties -Experience in sport event management -Support of the local community -A strong local organizing committee (LOC) with the ability to generate local event sponsorships and resources -Sophisticated venues and hotel properties -Affordability of the event for participants

The Hartford Nationals conducted by Move United are on a 2-year cycle with our host cities and LOC. The event takes place annually for 1 week in July.

Bids for 2027-2028 will be accepted until August 29, 2025. If Move United receives a strong bid prior to the deadline, we reserve the right to move forward awarding the bid at an earlier date.
