Triple Crown Baseball

The 2024 season marks the 30th year of Triple Crown Baseball, a grass-roots dream come to life that now reaches across the nation delivering competitive, memorable events that inspire and elevate athletes, teams and the families who make it a point to join the fun. In 1993, the predominantly slowpitch softball mindset of Triple Crown Sports began to broaden to include a handful of pilot baseball events; one year later, softball veteran Roland Rivera approached CEO David King with the idea to expand in baseball. A modest budget fueled nine events, eight in Colorado and one in the unlikely setting of the Mickey Owen Baseball School outside Springfield, MO. In 1995, the first TCS World Series welcomed 40 teams to Ulysses Park in Golden, CO., and in 1996, regional expansion took the baseball division past 20 events. That year, the "Eureka!" moment for TCS baseball occurred, as 165 teams swarmed Golden for the World Series. Good timing, superior event execution and hard-working staff proved to be the recipe, and the World Series moved to Steamboat Springs where it has become a mandatory stop in youth baseball. With events from Washington to Florida and California to New York, Triple Crown Baseball event directors only want to grow the game – with our partners in the high-achieving club world and the neighborhood teams who fell in love with the sport and are excited to get better and have experiences that will always be remembered.
