Ashley Whittaker Named 2024 Sports ETA Woman of the Year

SFC executive Ashley Whittaker was named the 2024 Sports ETA’s Woman of the Year this week at the 2024 Sports ETA Women’s Summit, held annually on the week of the NCAA Women’s Final Four at the host site which this year is Cleveland.
Whittaker is partner and senior vice president of marketing for The Sports Facilities Companies. She leads corporate business development and marketing, as well as the SFC facility marketing department. Whittaker has helped launch 50-plus facility brands, elevated numerous destinations through business development campaigns and developed the SF Network platform.
“Sports ETA is honored to recognize Ashley Whittaker as our Woman of the Year,” said John David, president and chief executive officer of Sports ETA. “We recognize her leadership and collaborative spirit in our sports events and tourism industry and thank her for her innovative approach to marketing sports facilities.”
Most recently, Whittaker led the development and launch of the Community Playmaker platform dedicated to providing solutions and ideas for local government leaders.
