Auburn-Opelika Awarded “Junior All-Star of the Year” by American Junior Golf Association
Braselton, GA – The Moon Golf Junior All-Star presented by Auburn-Opelika Tourism has been awarded the 2023 Junior All-Star of the Year. This award highlights the event’s excellent hospitality, fundraising, and community engagement. In 2023, the tournament, supported by Moon Golf and Auburn-Opelika Tourism, raised nearly $17,000, showcasing the dedication of volunteers, staff, and players. The 2024 event will be the second year Moon Golf has supported this outstanding tournament.
Founded in 2015 by Anne and Dan Moon, Moon Golf has expanded to three locations across the eastern United States, including Auburn, Alabama. The couple’s passion for golf has led them to provide top-quality products and services. Their support for the AJGA has greatly improved the tournament experience, providing players with memorable gifts and experiences, such as practice rounds with Aubie, Auburn University’s mascot. The AJGA’s return to RTJ Golf Trail at Grand National – Lake Course from July 1-4, 2024, promises another successful event, further strengthening the tournament’s legacy in the community.
