This week Baton Rouge is hosting seven sporting events across the city.



Earlier this week, the SWAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships got started out at Southern University.



The USA Masters Weightlifting Pan-American Championships got started today at the Crowne Plaza bring in over 300 competitors from 16 different countries.



On Thursday, the Firefighters Challenge Southwest Regional Classic gets rolling at L&#8217;Auberge Casino and Hotel. Over 100 competitors from an eight state region are expected.



This weekend both USSSA and Perfect Game are hosting tournaments in town with over 200 total teams expected to converge on Baton Rouge.



Red Storm basketball will host a small tournament at Team Sportsplex at Perkins Community Park.



LSU Softball will host one of 16 NCAA Regionals at Tiger Park featuring LSU, UConn, Nebraska and Southeastern.



All of this on top of the USBC Open continuing at the Raising Cane&#8217;s River Center and LSU&#8217;s graduation ceremonies. Going to be a lot of visitors in town this weekend!
