It was a banner year for the City of Brownwood Sports! Over 40,000 visitors entered our city limits with the sole purpose of enjoying one of our over 50 sporting events we held and supported. Events like The TexasBank Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament, Howard Payne Baseball Bonanza, and the Texas High School Bluebonnet Relays brought over 600 visiting teams who were able to enjoy out top notch facilities like the Brownwood Coliseum, Gordon Wood Football Stadium and Bert Massey Sports Complex. With 40 events already scheduled for 2023, the future is bright in Brownwood, TX!

Massey II Sports Complex featuring 12 Baseball and Softball fields, Camp Bowie Soccer Complex featuring 22 Soccer fields on 23 acres, and Coggin Park which offers a newly renovated Pickleball and Tennis facility. These facilities play host to more than 60 youth and adult tournaments per year. While Baseball, Softball, and Soccer facilities are extremely popular for 10 months of the year, Brownwood still has so much more to offer. Other sports Brownwood caters to are Football, Basketball, Golf, Running, Biking, and Shooting. With highly versatile outdoor and indoor venues there is no limit to the type of sports event we can host.
