Auburn-Opelika recently hosted the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) Moon Golf Junior All-Star Tournament, showcasing our top-notch facilities and exceptional support for athletes. The event was a tremendous success, with participants and spectators alike praising the seamless organization and beautiful Robert Trent Jones Course. The AJGA named the tournament their “Junior All-Star of the Year”, solidifying Auburn-Opelika as a premier destination for golf events.
We are also excited to host the Alabama Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) State Swimming Championship on July 26-27 at the newly opened Opelika Sportsplex pool facility. This state-of-the-art venue is set to provide a fantastic experience for swimmers, coaches, and spectators. Opelika is excited to showcase the facility with this tournament being the first large competition hosted at the pool.
