2026 SSAC Softball Championship Returns to Decatur, Alabama on April 30
DECATUR, AL (April 7th, 2026) – The 2026 SSAC Softball Championship, presented by Buffalo Wild Wings, is set to return to Decatur beginning April 30, bringing top collegiate softball talent and more than 500 out-of-town visitors to the River City.
Hosted by Decatur Morgan County Tourism, the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) Championship features a competitive field of college teams battling in a double-elimination format for the conference title and an automatic bid to the NAIA National Championship.
Fans can expect high-level play throughout the tournament, with standout programs including William Carey, Mobile, UT Southern, and Faulkner—each of which has been ranked in the NAIA Top 25 during the season.
“This championship continues to showcase some of the best collegiate softball in the country while delivering a strong economic and community impact for Decatur,” said organizers. “We’re excited to welcome athletes, coaches, and fans back for another exciting year.”

$15 – Adult single-day pass
$7.50 – Youth (ages 11–17) & college students with valid ID
Free – Children 10 and under
$36 – All-Tournament Pass
Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at https://ssacsports.com/tickets but will be available at the gate as well, with both cash and credit accepted. Concessions will be available on-site (credit card only), along with official SSAC merchandise for fans.
Spectator Information:
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to catch a full day of competitive action. The tournament is family-friendly and dog-friendly (leashed pets only). With championship stakes on the line, each game brings intensity as teams compete for a national tournament berth.
The SSAC Softball Championship has been a staple event since 2000 and has called Decatur home since 2017, continuing to grow in both competition and attendance each year.
