Far from the evergreens and rain of Western Washington, Tri-Cities boasts an arid climate bathed in sunshine more than 300 days a year!</p>

On race day, you will take on a 1.2-mile downriver swim in the iconic Columbia River, a 56-mile rolling bike through scenic wine country, and a flat, 13.1-run through parks and on paved trails, finishing at a festive finish line at Columbia Point Park. Go with the flow in Tri-Cities, Washington, the perfect backdrop for your end-of-summer race-cation.</p>

<p>Visit Tri-Cities will be the lead organization in facilitating the event through a three-year host agreement with IRONMAN and in collaboration with the City of Richland, West Richland and other regional communities and agencies.
