IRONMAN 70.3 is coming to Tri-Cities, Washington!
The Eastern Washington region of Tri-Cities will play host to the latest addition to the IRONMAN portfolio: IRONMAN 70.3 Washington Tri-Cities. Far from the evergreens and rain of Western Washington, Tri-Cities boasts an arid climate bathed in sunshine more than 300 days a year!
The inaugural IRONMAN 70.3 Washington Tri-Cities offers easy race logistics and a centralized venue. On race day, you will take on a 1.2-mile downriver swim in the iconic Columbia River, a 56-mile rolling bike through scenic wine country, and a flat, 13.1-run through parks and on paved trails, finishing at a festive finish line at Columbia Point Park. Go with the flow in Tri-Cities, Washington, the perfect backdrop for your end-of-summer race-cation.
Visit Tri-Cities will be the lead organization in facilitating the event through a three-year host agreement with IRONMAN and in collaboration with the City of Richland, West Richland and other regional communities and agencies. The event is scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 22, 2024, with general registration opening on October 19, 2023, at www.ironman.com/im703-washington-tri-cities.
