Kickoff in Salt Lake: Sports Salt Lake Hosts USYS Far West President’s Cup
Sports Salt Lake for the first time, took on the role of the LOC for US Youth Soccer’s – Far West President’s Cup. Over 130 teams from around the US gathered at the Salt Lake City Regional Athletic Complex. From Hawaii to Montana, to California and Arizona, teams were able to soak up the Mountain West views and work on qualifying for Nationals.
Sports Salt Lake and its volunteer program, worked alongside Utah Youth Soccer (a previous host of the Far West President’s Cup) to help showcase the best that Salt Lake has to offer. The Far West President’s Cup resulted in an estimated 7 Million dollar local impact with over 12,000 room nights.
