The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has announced an official partnership with Premier League club AFC Bournemouth which will include the “Visit Las Vegas” logo featured on the team’s training kit, in-stadium exposure and matchday activations as the club’s official travel destination.

The team’s connection to Vegas started in 2022 when Bill Foley, owner of the Vegas Golden Knights, invested in the Premier League club. Bournemouth enters the weekend in 13th place in the Premier League standings.

“We are grateful to AFC Bournemouth for their partnership and bringing us the opportunity to expand our sports brand internationally,” said Steve Hill, president and chief executive officer of the LVCVA. “We look forward to delivering some of Vegas’ signature energy directly to Vitality Stadium throughout the remainder or this season and beyond.”

The AFC Bournemouth partnership brings additional brand awareness for Las Vegas within its largest overseas market. Last year, 550,000 British visitors travelled to Las Vegas. Other U.S. destinations have partnered with Premier League teams in the past including Experience Kissimmee with West Ham United and Visit Tampa Bay with Norwich City.

“It’s a great fit for both parties,” said Jim Frevola, president of business operations at Bournemouth. “Our ownership having roots in Vegas and with the city itself fast becoming an important sporting destination, this makes for a strong relationship. I’m thankful to all at LVCVA for working with us to make this happen, and I look forward to seeing what we can create together.”
