Making Waves in Clermont County

Clermont County continues to prove its ability to host championship-caliber sporting events. From July 27–August 1, 2026, athletes from across the country traveled to Harsha Lake at East Fork State Park for the 2026 American Canoe and Kayak Sprint National Championships.

The event brought clubs from across the country to Clermont County, with the closest competing club traveling from Lake Lanier, Georgia, highlighting the championship’s national reach and Clermont County’s ability to attract athletes and teams from well beyond the region.

The week-long event featured exciting championship competition and wrapped up with a banquet at Elite Athletics Sports Complex.
