<p>From the best college baseball in the country at the Men’s College World Series to BMX tournaments, USA Triathlon Multisport Championships Festival and high school national championships, Omaha is a city known for hosting sporting events with Olympic-level zest and expertise. Now, an exciting inaugural event is in the works for May 2025.</p>



<p>Omaha will attract elite criterium cyclists and fans to its Aksarben Tirc criterium race on May 17. . Cyclists will navigate a course near where racehorses once thundered at Ak-Sar-Ben Race Track and Coliseum. The event name and logo pay homage to the area’s rich history.</p>
