RECAP: 2026 Oregon Classic Qualifier
Double legs, single legs, half-nelsons, arm bars and cradles were all on display at the 2026 Oregon Classic Qualifier, hosted by Ascend Wrestling Academy at the Keith Gilbertson Sr. Sports and Fitness Center at Snohomish High School on Sunday, Jan. 11. This was a sanctioned tournament under the Washington State Wrestling Association and USA Wrestling.
Spanning Washington state and dipping into Oregon and Canada, the folkstyle tournament featured more than 450 wrestlers from 40 teams. Divisions included boys U6, U8, U10, U12 and U16 and girls elementary, middle school (grades 6-8) and U16.
