Rumble on the Rails – Opelika, Alabama Hosts 130 Team Soccer Tournament
This past weekend, Auburn-Opelika Tourism hosted Rumble on the Rails, a soccer tournament that brought 130 teams and 1,700 players, coaches, and spectators to the area. The event utilized six venues: Wire Road Soccer Complex, Opelika Sportsplex, Floral Park, West Ridge Baseball Complex, and Moore Stadium.
Local vendors were present at the venues, providing services for attendees. Events like Rumble on the Rails contribute significantly to the local economy, benefiting hotels, restaurants, and other businesses while fostering community engagement.
