Sacramento Junior Championship is in Full Swing This Month

The American Junior Golf Association is making its return to Sacramento April 18-20, 2025, for the 2025 Sacramento Junior Championship. Presented by the Morton Golf Foundation, the 54-hole tournament will be held at the Alister MacKenzie Golf Course at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex. The event will feature a field of 96 regional co-ed golfers, ages 12-18. The event provides an opportunity for youth golfers who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through exposure to competitive junior golf events. The event will be the second of a five-year commitment with the Morton Golf Foundation, a 501c3 organization that raises funds for golf programs in the greater Sacramento community.

Awarded the title for “Best place to practice your golf swing when nobody’s looking” by Sacramento News and Review, Haggin Oaks Golf Complex features two 18-hole courses, 100 hitting stations on an award-winning driving range, five practice greens, two sand bunkers, three academy holes and a complete club-fitting center, making it one of the most developed learning centers for golf in Northern California.
