Salt Lake City Leveled Up: HCS Major 2025 Was One for the Books
Salt Lake City officially leveled up! We were proud to bring the 2025 Halo Championship Series (HCS) Major to the Salt Palace Convention Center from August 1–3, 2025. Hosted by the hometown heroes at Spacestation Gaming, this major stop on the global HCS tour featured the best Halo Infinite teams from around the world, battling for glory and a $250,000 prize pool right in the heart of downtown.
This wasn’t just a tournament; it was a full-scale Halo experience. Fans enjoyed a 64-team open bracket, 16 elite Pool Play squads, and a double-elimination Championship Bracket where only the strongest Spartans survived. For those who wanted to join the action, there was a $5,000 Free-For-All tournament, side events across multiple Halo titles, and a massive Fan Expo Zone packed with exclusive merch, team booths, and interactive gaming zones.
With its stunning mountain views, vibrant downtown, and rising status as a top-tier esports destination, Salt Lake City proved to be the perfect backdrop for a weekend of high-stakes plays, community energy, and next-level competition. Whether you were a die-hard Halo fan or just came to soak in the atmosphere, it was an event to remember.
