Salt Lake Hosts the ESports Global Invitational
Salt Lake was proud to host The ESPORTS Global Invitational in the Halo Championship Series from August 4 and August 6. It was the third-most-watched event in the discipline this year, in person and through many streaming services.
HCS utilized two major venues during their event. The Depot was staged for mainstage playing and viewing. They also used a 22,000 sqft exhibition area where additional playing and viewing took place, a Freeplay center, and other activities for attendees to take part in. Both venues were in a joint effort to allow players and attendees to immerse themselves in the tournament all weekend long.
As a special highlight, our native, and host team, SpaceStation Gaming likewise took home the HCS Championship, which resulted in a lively home crowd to cheer and support.
