The Vision
Team Mealz was founded by sports parents who struggled to find a place to eat with their kids after tournaments. From youth sporting events to college sports, eating is always the biggest headache for a large group of athletes. Earl Enterprise set out to create a sports-specific offering for those teams that need an easy plan.
From the Restaurant to the Field
For those who would like to dine onsite, Team Mealz offers altered menus with all-inclusive pricing to simplify the large group meal experience. Coaches or parents can coordinate directly with Team Mealz representatives to set up reservations instead of working with the restaurant. Team Mealz also has the capability to cater directly to a facility or hotel. Their drivers deliver right from the restaurant to the field, so players can enjoy a post-game meal without the wait.
“We also know that things can come up last minute, and we can take those last minute catering options or individual meals to go, whatever it may be,” Holbrook says.
How Can You Get Started?
In many cases, Team Mealz works initially with the event organizer to set up a group dining option for their participants. From there, a custom website link is created for parents and players to book a meal. Parents simply enter their contact information, number of guests and preferred date and timing, and a Team Mealz representative will reach out to confirm their booking.
“It makes it very easy for them. They don’t have to worry about anything else. All they have to do is show up to the restaurant, enjoy their food, and leave,” Holbrook notes. For the event organizer, there is no cost unless they would like their events catered. For those groups dining at a restaurant, reservations are confirmed with a 50% deposit and the remaining balance is paid at the restaurant.
