Ski to Sea Relay Race in Bellingham, WA is Sold Out in Record Time!

Whatcom Events is stunned to announce that registration for the 2026 Ski to Sea Race is SOLD OUT. Registration opened January 1st and teams signed up at a record-breaking pace! On Thursday, January 15th with only 75 spots remaining, we sent a newsletter out to all past racers and supporters with the news and within two hours, all remaining spots were taken. The waitlist is also full of over 100 teams on it.

In 2025, Ski to Sea had over 4,000 participants plus family and spectators. With over 2,000 total room nights generated between hotels and short-term rentals, the direct business sales totaled over $1.65 million and over 1,100 jobs were supported.
