SnoCo Sports announces Cleats, Cultures & Celebrations soccer campaign
On April 11, the Snohomish County Sports Commission was excited to announce its Cleats, Cultures & Celebrations campaign!
Why? Because that date marked exactly two months away from the first game of the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
In collaboration with the City of Everett, Port of Everett, Discover Snohomish County and Imagine Children’s Museum, the Snohomish County Sports Commission will produce content about all things soccer starting in May and concluding in August, coinciding with the FIFA World Cup 2026™.
The Cleats, Cultures & Celebrations campaign truly reflects the Snohomish County soccer scene. From our several local youth clubs spanning from Stanwood to Edmonds, to our Snohomish- and Everett-based semiprofessional teams, and to our premier indoor and outdoor facilities, saying our area is passionate about soccer is an understatement. Everett is an official Seattle FWC26 Fan Zone, and SnoCo Sports is partnering with the City of Everett and Port of Everett to host four Waterfront Watch Parties. This will urge visitors and residents, everyone from die-hard fans to casual eventgoers, to watch and support the best soccer teams in the world.
SnoCo Sports and the Imagine Children’s Museum have also partnered to further enhance the excitement of the World Cup through the Soccer Exhibit, which will be located on the upper floor at the Museum. This activation with educate children about the history of soccer and the sport’s popularity around the world while providing them fun soccer activities.
All of this work, through the help of our destination partners, Discover Snohomish County, will promote Snohomish County as THE destination to celebrate soccer and the World Cup. In addition to our campaign, check out the “Game On, Everett” initiative directed to enhance our area’s reputation for hosting the beautiful game.
