Submit your Bids for the 2025 and 2026 NCAA College Basketball Academies!
The NCAA invites prospective hosts to bid on the 2025 and 2026 Men’s and Women’s College Basketball Academies.
The NCAA College Basketball Academies give prospective men’s and women’s student-athletes a sample of the college basketball experience. Organized with input from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), these developmental summer academies pair high-level basketball competition with life skills instruction.
In addition to basketball training, skill development, and games, participants and their parents or chaperones will attend life skills courses about NCAA eligibility and compliance; the recruiting process; name, image, and likeness opportunities; agents; the transfer portal; and the pathway to professional basketball opportunities. The NCAA is looking for a single location to host both the men’s and the women’s academy for 2025 and 2026. Bid specifications and pertinent forms can be found at www.ncaa.org/bids and prospective hosts must submit bids through the NCAA Championship Bid Portal at http://championships.ncaa.org.
The site selection process for the academies is on a separate timeline from the NCAA’s championship wide bid process and completed bids must be submitted by Friday, April 26.
