Summer Events Continue to Sizzle in Sacramento
As the weather continues to heat up in Sacramento, so is the competition! USA Swimming will bring its Futures Championships back to Sacramento for the third year in a row, July 23-26, 2025, at the North Natomas Aquatics Complex. This regional event is open to all swimmers who are members of USA Swimming with qualifying times and gives them an opportunity to qualify for national-level competitions. An estimated 800 swimmers are expected to compete during the event.
From July 29th to August 3rd, Senior Softball USA returns for their annual Senior Softball Western National Championships. The event features men and women age groups ranging from over 40 years old to over 85 years old. An estimated 145 teams and 2,000 participants are expected to compete at multiple locations across Sacramento and Placer Counties. Host facilities include the Sacramento Softball Complex, Maidu Regional Park, Mahany Park, Hal Bartholomew Sports Park, and Foskett Regional Park
