The Opelika Sportsplex Pickleball Facility just got even better.
With the addition of new uncovered courts and the new Sam Bailey Pickleball Pavilion, Opelika continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the premier pickleball destinations in the Southeast. The expansion adds valuable court capacity for daily play while creating even more opportunities to host large-scale tournaments and events that bring visitors, athletes and families to our community. This project is especially meaningful to Auburn-Opelika Tourism, as we are proud to support and champion this vision alongside community partners. Investments like these not only enhance quality of life for local residents but also drive economic impact by attracting tournaments that fill our hotels, restaurants and local businesses. Previous facility expansions helped increase tournament capacity dramatically, and this latest addition positions us for even greater growth in the years ahead.
