Think You’re a Ninja? Prove It at the World’s Largest Multi-Event Ninja Competition in Harrisburg this July

Think you have what it takes to be a ninja obstacle course champion? You’ll have the chance to find out this summer during the world’s largest multi-event ninja competition in Harrisburg.

The Ultimate Ninja Association (UNAA) will host the Ultimate OCR 3k on Monday, July 13, 2026 at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. The competition blends three kilometers of running with over 20 obstacle challenges, combining ninja-style elements like rings and monkey bars with traditional obstacle course racing features such as walls and rope climbs.

The competition arrives at a pivotal moment for the sport: obstacle racing is gaining international momentum and will debut as part of the modern pentathlon at the 2028 Summer Olympics, replacing the sport’s equestrian component. Event organizers say competitions like the Ultimate OCR 3K are helping introduce more athletes to the discipline at the grassroots level. Participants age seven and older, from beginner to elite competitors are invited to register online at http://www.ultimateninja.net/ultimate-ocr-3k. All finishers will receive medals, with podium winners earning additional awards. Elite divisions will compete for a $4,000 prize purse.

“This is one of the most accessible and exciting ways for people to experience obstacle sports and we welcome all ages and skill levels to come out and enjoy a fun challenge for friends and family,” said Bob Clark, CEO of UNAA. “With the sport gaining global attention ahead of the 2028 Olympics, there’s never been a better time to get involved.”

The Ultimate OCR 3k is one of several competitions happening during the Obstacle Sports Expo which runs from July 11-16, 2026 at the complex. The USA Ninja World Cup, Federation of International Ninja Athletics (FINA) World Championship, UNAA World Championship and WNAG Team Championship will be held in the GIANT Expo Hall. More than 2,000 athletes from 41 states and 21 countries are expected to participate. The full event schedule can be found at https://irp.cdn-website.com/179f80df/files/uploaded/2026+OSE+Schedule.pdf.

Spectator tickets will be available for pre-sale online or at the door and will include admission for all events scheduled for that day. Free admission will be available for those that volunteer for four or more hours on one or more days of the event from July 9-17. Volunteer registration is available at https://www.ultimateninja.net/unaa-finals.
