We run for the kids! Join us on October 5th, 2025 for the 8th Annual Palace City Kiwanis Half Marathon starting and ending at The World’s Only Corn Palace!

The Palace City Kiwanis Half is definitely one of those ‘bucket list’ races. It’s the only race in the world that starts and finishes in front of the World’s Only Corn Palace. You can choose the half marathon, 10K or 5K option.

Here’s the schedule:

Saturday, October 4th

– Packet Pickup at the Corn Palace from 3 pm to 5 pm

– Kids Fun Run starting at 5 pm in the Corn Palace Plaza

Sunday, October 5th

– Packet Pickup at the Corn Palace from 6 am to 7 am

– RACE TIME!

– Wave 1: Starts at 7:30 am – Half Marathon + 10K

– Wave 2: Starts at 7:45 am – 5K Runners/Walkers

​Proceeds from the Palace City Kiwanis Half are used to fund programs through the Kiwanis Club of Mitchell including Girls on the Run, Kiwanis Woodlot Park, Kristi Arnold Memorial Inclusive Playground, Little Library Books and much more.
