XTERRA Cabo: Community, Partnership, and Adventure on the Baja Peninsula

XTERRA Cabo returned to the Baja Peninsula with a weekend that celebrated the power of partnership as athletes, families, and friends connected with the local community in many ways. Local partners and regional businesses all played a part in shaping the atmosphere. The coastline, the energy, and the people gave Cabo a standout feel that continues to grow across the Americas.

The impact was seen both on the course and through the voices of the athletes. Steve Croucher (USA) called the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez “the brightest orange with the horizon completely covered,” while Matthew Trybus (USA) highlighted “the friendliness of the people and the natural beauty of the area.” Lauren Samay (USA) described her first XTERRA as “amazing, so much fun, and very challenging,” emphasizing how welcoming and supportive the atmosphere felt.

XTERRA extends its appreciation to Clandestino Baja Travel Experiences, venue sponsors, and the volunteers who provided course support and hospitality throughout the weekend. Special thanks go to race organizer Sergio Sarmiento and his team showing what can be achieved when regional partners, local businesses, and the XTERRA Community elevate event experiences together.
