Youth Hockey Players Take Over Omaha Arenas

Omaha’s ice rinks are staying busy as the Omaha Stampede youth hockey tournament returns for two weekends of play across the metro.

One weekend of competition has already brought teams and families to local arenas, with another weekend of games still ahead at venues including Motto McLean Ice Arena, Moylan Iceplex, Liberty First Credit Union Arena, Baxter Arena and Grover Ice Rink.

With 64 teams and an estimated 1,700+ hotel room nights generated, youth sports continue to be a steady driver of visitation and weekend activity in Omaha during the late winter season.
