Our story began 8 years ago when my team and I, all self-proclaimed coffee fanatics, discovered our passion for coffee while traveling the world. And the most vibrant organic green matcha from the beautiful mountains of Kagoshima, Japan. My meticulous nature and refusal to settle for anything less than the best has been the driving force behind our coffee house and We have partnered up with some of the most knowledgeable coffee roasters and farmers to source the finest, single-origin beans from the most prestigious locations around the world, and we're committed to bringing out the most complex notes in every roast. Glaze is an artist-run ceramic studio and art center focusing on the education and promotion of the ceramic arts in Texas. Our mission is to create a local community around the ceramic arts and curate international ceramic artists as an educational resource for the arts community in McKinney and surrounding areas. Through educational classes, workshops, lecture series, and artist-in-residence programs, Glaze seeks to create a thriving arts community and environment for all skill levels in the ceramic arts. Located in the historic McKinney Cotton Mill, Glaze Ceramic Studio also offers memberships and has a venue space for small meetings and events.

LX Artworks Gallery is a fine art exhibition space devoted to the history of Rebels, Founders, & Icons. The gallery houses the work of artist Lindsay Ekstrom, as it doubles as an exhibition space and permanent installation of her work. Lindsay Ekstrom is a self-taught, McKinney-based artist who crafts original portraits that recount the lesser-known histories of well-known Rebels, Founders, and Icons of the past and present. Ekstrom has affectionately dubbed her unique style “Portrait Pop”, as it draws inspiration from both traditional portraiture and pop art. Ekstrom simultaneously embraces and subverts the traditions of these established art styles. While she frames and positions her subjects in a stately manner, she also brings them down to Earth through their humanized portrayal via symbolically selected contemporary fashion, tattoos, accessories, and attitudes. “I don’t just put historical figures in modern clothes for a laugh,” the artist says of her work. “The fashion, the clothes they wear, even their body language are all symbols that tell their life story.” Before embarking on a new project, Ekstrom meticulously researches each of her subjects to ensure that she represents them in a way that is relevant and historically accurate. From this, her unique portraits are born. Located in the historic McKinney Cotton Mill, LX Artworks Gallery creates an open space where anyone can interact with, learn about, and participate in the art world. LX Artworks Gallery hosts various exhibitions throughout the year and is a space where past and present intersect purposefully.

The gallery features artwork by owner Cortney Baker, which focuses on mixed-media abstract and acrylic floral art. The gallery offers ornaments and painted champagne bottles. In addition, Bloom Galleries also features a line of jewelry designed and created by Baker and her teenage daughter.

The historic Cotton Mill in McKinney, TX is located just outside of Downtown McKinney, right off of Elm Street. This 1900’s building was historically the largest denim manufacturer in the World. We kept the name and the original character throughout the space and did a full renovation to create a wedding venue that has an elegant, yet rustic and industrial charm.

The Cotton Mill is a truly unique *historic v*enue that acts as a “blank canvas” for your event. We provide the hall, security, tables, chairs, porter service and catering. All other vendors and outside catering are welcome. The Cotton Mill Event Hall is over 9,000 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 400 guests. It is also perfect for a smaller ceremony/reception combination.

Our outdoor space, the Dye Room, is ideal for any Bride’s dream of an outside wedding with garden and water features as well! Want everything inside? The Grand Hallway is just the ticket for a beautiful indoor ceremony. The venue has hardwood maple flooring and a gorgeous “hidden garden” that is visible through the Event Hall. Let’s not forget that we have an elegant Bridal Suite.
