Located just one block east of McKinney's historic downtown square, this museum, located in the historic post office building, is one of McKinney's best kept secrets. The museum is open year round, Friday through Saturday, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Family research and genealogy projects are welcome. Our archives and family files include information, documentation, and photographs from Collin County. The museum is also available for private showings of exhibits and archives upon request. The museum is equipped with tables and chairs accommodating approximately 65 people. There is a kitchen facility with a sink (no stove available), along with a handicap-accessible entrance.

Holly had a very successful floral business and Shannon was well known all over the country for her artistic wedding cakes.
