Heard Natural Science Museum

This 289-acre nature preserve made up of a variety of habitats and miles of nature trails also features bird blinds, an Animals of the World Exhibit, educational pioneer village, butterfly gardens and a variety of indoor exhibits. Bring a picnic basket for enjoying lunch in the picnic area. Most trails are stroller friendly. Check their website for a variety of classes, special events and visiting exhibits.
