On November 10, 1914, seven women in McKinney met at the home of Mrs. J.E Reeves to organize an art club. Over the years we have had several names and hundreds of members, but we still meet every month to celebrate the beauty of art, friendship, and community. The artists associated with the Art Club of McKinney include both nationally recognized and up-and-coming artists who use various mediums and techniques to produce vibrant and expressive art. Our diverse membership includes painters, illustrators, photographers, potters, and simply people who just enjoy art.
