Richmond Philharmonic

We’re a community of runners, hikers, bikers and ballplayers. We’re an outdoor playground, designed by Mother Nature, with class III and IV rapids running right through our downtown. A 52-mile bike trail runs along the James. The Richmond Marathon and Ukrop’s 10k are huge celebrations, and the whole region comes out to cheer on our local teams. In fact, we’re so sports-minded that the Washington Redskins have their training camp right in the center of the city. Add to that awesome hotels, beautiful venues, attractions, art, craft beer, more than 900 restaurants and a convenient location, and you’ve got a top choice for your next sports event. Welcome to RVA!

Sports Richmond, VA

Business or Pleasure... our trails are ideally located downtown only minutes away from where you are staying. Lets grab your trail running shoes and hit some trails! We'll meet at Tredegar Ironworks and explore 1-4 hours, based on your schedule, worth of incredible singletrack located along the James River under a canopy of trees. There are 30+ miles of trails located right in the middle of the downtown area. Some of these trails offer scenic views of the river and the skyline of RVA. Fun pace to get your workout in and take in the views. Don't be fooled; our trails are true hard-packed dirt trails built by outdoor enthusiasts starting back in the 90's! So be prepared for some serious trail fun! We'll have plenty to choose from and discuss what you want out of your tour. When we are done, we can grab a post-run beverage and/or food at one of our many restaurants, craft breweries, and coffee shops that are not too far off the trails. Once we have discuss your objective, we can furnish you with maps and other details to get prepared for the fun ahead. Please bring your hydration pack and/or bottles. If you need water bottles and/or light energy gels, please let us know and we can make arrangements. $30/person. Must be 18+ years of age. Max of 6 participants per tour.

Trailhead Tours RVA

Grab your mountain bike and lets hit the trails of Richmond! We'll meet at **Tredegar Ironworks** and explore 3-4 hours worth of incredible singletrack located along the James River under a canopy of trees. There are 30+ miles of trails located right in the middle of the downtown area: Scenic Views and Technical Trails! Mountain Bike Trails built by mountain bikers; so previous mountain bike riding with intermediate to advanced level skills will be needed to take full advantage of our trails. We'll have plenty to choose from and can make adjustments to make the most fun of our tour. When we are done, we can grab a post-ride beverage and/or food at one of our many restaurants, craft breweries or brewpubs that are not too far off the trails. Dates and Times Very flexible with advance notice. Monday-Sunday as early as 7am. Once we have decided on a plan, we can furnish you with maps and other details to get prepared for the fun ahead. Please bring your favorite mountain bike (no hybrids), safety gear(helmets, pads, etc), and hydration pack or bottles. If you need water bottles and/or light energy gels, please let us know and we can make arrangements. $90/person. Must be 18+ years of age. Max of 6 participants per tour. Time to have some fun in the city on two wheels!

Mezeh Mediterranean Grill-Forest Avenue

Henrico’s oldest neighborhood park features picnic shelters, approximately a mile of walking trails, an outdoor fitness area, and a playground. In 2023, Cheswick Park received a renovation and upgrades. The recent improvements include the addition of an open fitness area and upgrades to the trails, playground, restroom facilities, pedestrian bridges, parking lot, main entrance, storm water management infrastructure, and signage. Open daily from dawn to dusk.
