CLAVES UNIDOS™, translated United Rhythms is a collective of independent artists under the artistic direction of founder, Kevin LaMarr Jones who believes that beyond the barriers of race, age, gender, religion and geography, that it is the African presence in the arts that unites the world. CLAVES UNIDOS presents dance productions and events that are life and community-affirming including a free African Roots Community Dance Class on Saturday mornings at Dogtown Dance Theatre. It is a ‘kinetic tour’ of African influenced dances 'between the back yard and the Caribbean'.
