Diversity Richmond is the LGBTQ community hub for Greater Richmond that supports people, connects partners and advocates for the LGBTQ community to make Greater Richmond more welcoming and inclusive. Our programs help people in crisis, lift up diverse voices and give back through grant making. We produce the annual Pridefest that brings thousands of people together, and we operate the only non-profit LGBTQ+ art gallery in the south, Iridian Gallery. Our facility and event space is used for recovery groups, community meetings, parties and community celebrations. Our work is supported by the community through Diversity Thrift, voted Richmond's favorite thrift store.

We’re a community of runners, hikers, bikers and ballplayers. We’re an outdoor playground, designed by Mother Nature, with class III and IV rapids running right through our downtown. A 52-mile bike trail runs along the James. The Richmond Marathon and Ukrop’s 10k are huge celebrations, and the whole region comes out to cheer on our local teams. In fact, we’re so sports-minded that the Washington Redskins have their training camp right in the center of the city. Add to that awesome hotels, beautiful venues, attractions, art, craft beer, more than 900 restaurants and a convenient location, and you’ve got a top choice for your next sports event. Diversity Thrift is approximately 15,000 square feet of cool stuff and great bargains. New items are added daily, everything from clothing to toys to furniture to tools to home goods and more! Since its inception, Diversity Richmond has donated over $1 Million to local non-profits, largely through the success of Diversity Thrift and the generosity of those who donate merchandise to Diversity Thrift. Thanks to our donors, customers, volunteers, and staff, Diversity Thrift continues to support the efforts of Diversity Richmond and thus the wider Richmond community.

Iridian Gallery

A 55,000 square foot entertainment hub for all age groups and the newest hotspot for groups, gatherings and live entertainment. The space is home to an indoor beer garden, virtual golf bays, a karaoke room, mini golf, comedy club and a food hall, offering an array of dining and drinking options from street tacos to nori hand rolls, boozy milkshakes and more. The indoor beer garden boasts a 60-ft bar, featuring 30 taps for guests to use themselves.

The Park

Hardywood Park Craft Brewery's original taproom is in Richmond's Historic German Brewing District. Our outdoor beer garden is open during posted hours every Tuesday through Sunday. Our Hardywood Pizza Kitchen turns out handcrafted eats Tuesday through Sunday. We offer an eclectic mix of live music and community events that are free to the public and open to all ages.

The Richmond Flying Squirrels are the region's best source of affordable family FUNN! The Flying Squirrels are the Double-A affiliate of the 2010, 2012, and 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants and have something happening everyday at The Diamond!

Virago Spirits specializes in classically inspired, creatively interpreted spirits, focusing on rum, gin, brandy, and herbal liqueurs. Our production philosophy blends a deep respect for time-honored, traditional production techniques with New World creativity, ingenuity and innovation. Visit our tasting room featuring a rotating cocktail menu and a cozy lounge seating 25 with fireplace and a view of the distillery’s vintage Charentais-style alembic still. Local artist Emily Herr painted a 360 degree mural inspired by the meaning of “virago” - a latin term for an exceptional woman of character. In addition to cocktail and tasting flights, bottles and other merchandise are available for purchase. Distillery hours are Thursday, 3 p.m. - 7 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., and Sunday, 12 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Main Line Brewery is located in a park-like setting on 3 spacious acres near Scott's Addition in downtown Richmond. Local bands that play a wide assortment of music are scheduled most days and/or evenings for your listening pleasure. If you're feeling energetic there is human sized pong, corn hole games, jenga and more. Furry friends are always welcome.

Located in the L. Douglas Wilder Library at Virginia Union University, the galleries include collections of masks, sculptures and paintings from Africa and the South Pacific as well as African-American folk art.
