Angle Lake Park, a 10 acre lake-front park, is the perfect place to cool off in the summer. Swimming, boating, and fishing are fun activities for the entire family. A spray park play area recently opened with many fun water features. There is also a barbeque area and picnic shelter and plenty of room to play games. Angle Lake Park is home to many community events, including SeaTac International Festival held each year in the summer! Red Tricycle Spray Park Review:  Hands down we think this is the coolest spray park south of the Ship Canal. The central point of this King of All That Is spray park is a 50-gallon, bright red bowl--accurately named the Mega Splasher--that slowly, silently fills with water, 20 feet above teenagers and tots alike. As the bowl fills, watch the braver kiddos begin to line up under its splash zone, and then get ready for the tidal wave—the bowl slowly tips, and those carefully collected gallons of water wash down towards the sea of kid-manity, completely drenching the ones who dared to stay. It’s great entertainment for you and a cool thrill for the bravest of splashers.  Besides the awesomely entertaining Mega Splasher--the only one in Washington--there are smaller tipping bowls that also spin by kid power, a spray circle, spray guns and various gentle ground sprayers, including four “flowers” that send a sweet spray two feet in the air, and can be turned on with little toes. The spray area is surrounded by a low cement wall, perfect for parents to sip their iced lattes and steer clear of the sun. Bathrooms and water fountains are right next to the spray zone, just the right distance for the potty-trainers who just gotta go. Aaran

With 4.8 acres, this Tukwila park was dedicated on July 13, 2000. With the help of a Community Development Block Grant, federally funded through King County, the City added play equipment and a paved path to provide handicapped access to the park and playground. Park improvements also include irrigation, fencing and a large grassy area. This is a passive, open neighborhood park for families and is located at the site of the old Tukwila Community Center. Any time is a good time for coffee! Cafe Pie is not your regular cafe. Cafe Pie offers Barista training program is the initial training for youths and young adults wanting to become baristas. Our training focuses on essential life skills, leadership development, job readiness, and knowledge required to effectively perform the barista role at any coffee shop. Our program has two components: one-to-one skills sharing and on-the-job training. It is a different learning experience that enhances confidence and competence in delivering customer service. Our on-the-job training comes with a bi-weekly paid stipend, therefore an application process is required for acceptance on the program.

The 2026 9U PG Harvest Slugfest (Saturday Only) is a premier youth baseball tournament hosted by Perfect Game, the world’s largest and most respected amateur baseball scouting organization. Held on October 3, 2026, at Steven J Underwood Memorial Park in Des Moines, Washington, this single-day event offers young athletes born on or after May 1, 2017 the chance to compete on premium turf fields with professional officiating. Participants will enjoy efficient tournament management, high-quality facilities, and opportunities to boost player and team rankings through scouting coverage and social media exposure. Registration is open now for 9U teams seeking a competitive and well-organized baseball experience.

Get ready for a spooky good time with our annual 4v4 indoor Boo Fest Jamboree! Teams are encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit with their own costumes and fun teams. The fun doesn’t stop off the field either as we will have Halloween-themed crafts and activities along with our annual haunted maze!

Boofest Jamboree

**2026 Emerald City Cup** returns to Starfire Sports in Tukwila on **October 31 – November 1, 2026**, bringing together top boys lacrosse teams from across the region for a weekend of high-level competition. Teams from **3rd/4th grade through High School Varsity** will compete in a guaranteed **five-game format**, including pool play followed by playoff or consolation games. Hosted by CitySide Lax, the tournament emphasizes competitive matchups, player development, and a first-class event experience for athletes, coaches, and families.

Emerald City Cup Boys Lacrosse 

Experience the excitement of the **NWAC Soccer Championships**, where the conference’s top teams compete for a championship title.

Championship action takes place on **Friday, November 13, and Sunday, November 15**, giving soccer fans two days to cheer on talented NWAC student-athletes as they battle their way toward the title.
