Fresh, Responsible, Sustainable Tsunami flies fresh seafood in daily from around the world and we focus on serving fish that is seasonally available to ensure absolute freshness and quality. Our wild salmon is caught from a single family-owned boat out of Petersburg, Alaska, and shipped directly to Tsunami. Tsunami is a member of Strawless SLC. Straws that are provided (upon request) are biodegradable, and water is also served only when requested. All to-go containers and to-go bags are made from compostable materials and Tsunami recycles glass at our Sugar House, Union Heights and South Jordan locations. In 2009, Tsunami was the first restaurant in Utah to stop serving blue fin tuna. The vast majority of our seafood is from sustainable, renewable stock.

Located in [Historic Trolley Square](http://www.trolleysquare.com/) since 1972, we've been satisfying the local Salt Lake community with hand crafted food and beer for decades. In our roots, we began with a simple offering of food and poured Coors to college students. Over time however, we have evolved and expanded into a full service brewpub, with made from scratch food and finely crafted beers alike while still maintaining our local relaxed vibe.

Our brewery operation began in 1995 and within a year we went on to win Utah's first gold medal and the GABF for our Happy Valley Hefeweizen. We have continued winning medals ever since, most recently with 2 Gold Medals and the 2015 Mountain Brewers Festival for our Road Rage Rye and Dunkelweizen. Currently we have four beers that are always on tap (Hefeweizen, Pilsner, Pale Ale, and Stout) in addition to four rotating seasonal taps and one cask conditioned handle.

The menu has kept some of the 35 year favorites while adding and changing over time to more modern offerings. We have a specials menu that changes bi-weekly to explore current trends and maintain variety for our dedicated local following. Chef Leonardo brings the cooking of Catania and sources our ingredients with the same care. It's not a theme. It's where we're from. How 'Mina began It started in Taormina 'mina takes its name from Taormina, the hillside town on Sicily's coast where Giro Messeri grew up, where doors stay open, meals run long, and a stranger is just a friend you haven't met. Giro carried that with him to Utah, and years later it found a partner in Adam Rosh, an emergency physician who'd spent a career caring for people and wanted to keep doing it one table at a time.
