Carson Park

Carson Park is one of Eau Claire’s most iconic places to spend a day outdoors. Set on a 134-acre peninsula surrounded by Half Moon Lake, the park brings together lake recreation, family attractions, local history and classic sporting venues beneath a canopy of mature trees. Catch an Eau Claire Express baseball game at the historic stadium where Hank Aaron once played, visit two museums, launch a kayak or settle in for a picnic with views across the water.

The park’s paved route runs nearly a mile from Menomonie Street through Carson Park to the causeway, and the accessible Half Moon Lake Boardwalk Trail connects the park with Rod and Gun Park through the Braun’s Bay wetland area.
