The Bit and Spur Saddle Club is in its 84th year of operation and continues to be Eau Claire's best kept secret. They produce eight horse shows that have halter, showmanship, English Hunt Seat and Saddle Seat classes along with Western Pleasure and Horsemanship. The Club concentrates on putting on Open Horse Shows and is affiliated with the Western Saddle Club Association. People are welcome to join the Bit and Spur Saddle Club at any time and is open to all age groups, and any horse breed is welcome. There are also educational seminars throughout the year.
