Since it opened in 1959, Phoenix Art Museum has become the largest art museum in the southwestern United States providing access to visual arts and educational programs in Arizona. In the past 60 years, millions have visited the museum to view hundreds of national and international exhibitions it has hosted. These are shown alongside Phoenix Art Museum's collection that has grown to more than 20,000 objects of American, Asian, European, Latin American, Western American, modern and contemporary art, photography, and fashion design. The museum hosts photography exhibitions through its landmark partnership with The University of Arizona's Center for Creative Photography in Tucson. Arizona Opera produces fully-staged operas, concerts, and collaborative programs throughout the state of Arizona each year, and is among only a handful of companies in the U.S. that regularly performs in more than one city. Having just celebrated its 50th Anniversary Season, Arizona Opera's mission is to elevate the transformative power of storytelling through music, cultivating community and strengthening a state and people as adventurous and diverse as the place they call home. Arizona Opera has since produced more than 200 operas and concerts since its founding as the Tucson Opera Company in 1971. Located on Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix, the museum hosts 200,000 visitors a year and "provides Indian artists with a wonderful home that will excite and inspire visitors from around the world," according to Arizona Highways. The museum's 11 spacious exhibit galleries and beautiful outdoor courtyards feature outstanding traditional and contemporary American Indian art. The Heard Museum Shop offers an array of authentic Native art, while the Berlin Gallery features outstanding contemporary fine art for purchase. The Cafe whips up tasty Southwest-inspired salads, sandwiches and soups; visit the Cantina for gourmet coffee drinks and snacks.

Phoenix Fan Fusion is a multigenre entertainment and comic book convention held annually in Phoenix, Arizona. It was founded as the Phoenix Cactus Comicon in June 2002, and originally consisted of a one-day six-hour event held in Ahwatukee, Arizona. PCC plays host to comic related panels, programming events, art contests, and autograph signings for all ages. It is a four-day event (Thursday-Sunday) held during the summer at the Phoenix Convention Center in downtown Phoenix. On Thursday evening prior to the official opening of the event, there is a preview for professionals, exhibitors, and select guests pre-registered for all four days. Originally showcasing comic books, science fiction/fantasy and film/television, and related popular arts, the convention has expanded over the years to include a larger range of pop culture elements, such as horror, anime, manga, animation, toys, collectible card games, video games, webcomics, and fantasy novels. In 2016, the convention set an attendance record of 106,096. Phoenix Comic Fest has also begun to expand programming into the surrounding hotels, including the Hyatt Regency, Marriott Renaissance, and Sheraton Phoenix Downtown hotels.

FOUND:RE Phoenix Hotel regularly debuts a new cycle of exhibitions every four months throughout the entire hotel as part of the FOUND:RE Contemporary art program. The selection of art is based on a 360-degree view of arts and culture that includes a range of visual and performance mediums. The FOUND:RE Contemporary art program is produced in partnership with Artlink, a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting the arts, business and community.
