Park at the River Center and walk, run or bike along the Lewis S. Eaton Trail. The six-mile trail can be accessed with a starting point at either the River Center or at Woodward Park. Find drinking fountains, benches, picnic tables and a restroom at the River Center. Also access the Hidden Homes Nature Trail from this point of the Lewis S. Eaton Trail.

At the River Center you can connect with the culture and natural history of the San Joaquin River through art and educational exhibits, programs and activities, gardens and links to pedestrian and bike trails.There is something for everyone at the River Center. Programs like storytelling, river-inspired art workshops, readings by local authors, gardening classes and kids' crafts keep the place bustling with activity year-round.The River Center has a restored 1890's ranch house, rose garden, orchard, vineyard and picnic area. The grounds and historic ranch house are available to rent for business meetings.Visit the River Store in the historic ranch house to purchase unique gifts. (Store open 11am-3pm, Saturday and Sunday). A portion of all sales benefits the work of the River Parkway Trust.

This aquatics center was designed for multiple purposes, as (1) a home for the Clovis North High School competitive aquatics program (2) a multipurpose aquatic venue for community recreational programs (3) a possible competition venue for various competitive swimming and diving groups, including C.I.F., U.S. Masters, USA Diving and USA Swimming.The facilities to accommodate this multifaceted aquatics program are designed around the basic two parallel 50-meter pools, each 25 yards wide. The pools have distinct features, but also functions in common beyond simply the size and swim lane tiling. One pool is a constant 2 meters deep, and is primarily for competitive racing and water polo; it provides eight lanes with built-in starting platforms at each end for 50-meter-based racing, and 19 lanes for the 25-yard-based high school competition. The pool edge is a conventional gutter to complete the racing function. The second pool has the same lane configuration, but with added features to provide the multifaceted specialties of the aquatics center. At one end is a diving well with three, 1-meter boards and one, 3-meter board. This pool has a zero- or infinity-edge/gutter designed to allow divers ease of egress anywhere along the pool. The other end has a 25-foot shallow area (approximately 3 feet deep) to allow for swim instruction and young people’s recreation. The center one-third of this pool is at the 2-meter depth to allow for an additional water polo court.

Clovis North High School

Starting this year our start and finish line activities will be located at beautiful Clovis Community College. Home of the Clovis Crush and Indoor-Marathon World Record holder CJ Albertson! The Boston qualifying marathon course has been completely redesigned to offer a scenic and truly flat course. With just 60 miles from Yosemite, Fresno and its sister city Clovis, sit as the Gateway to Yosemite National Park as well as Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, home of some of the largest and oldest redwoods in the World! With plenty of hotels to choose from you can see why many participants run, stay and play!
