On the National Register of Historic Places, the courthouse is now a museum, featuring the restored interior, circuit courtroom and offices. Charlotte Performing Arts Center

Skateboards, BMX bikes, and scooters are welcome at this 13,000-sq.-ft. concrete skate park featuring an eight-foot-deep bowl. The park also has a 24 hole disc golf course, and two sand volleyball courts, a hockey rink for rollerblading and ice skating, a sledding hill and a RC car race track. A great option to explore during downtime between sports events.

From coughs and colds to sprains and pains, University of Michigan Health - Sparrow Urgent Care is the best place to go when you can’t get in to see your doctor, and it’s not serious enough to go to the ER.

University of Michigan Health - Sparrow Urgent Care Charlotte

Located just a few miles southwest of Lansing, the Alliance Lake Softball Complex is set in the community of Potterville, with plenty of nearby options for dining and lodging. Those seeking shopping, or even more to see and do, need only head a few minutes, back north and explore Delta Township, Greater Lansing's West Side. This facility offers bleacher seating for over 500 spectators. There is ample on-site parking with a capacity for over 500 vehicles. All dugouts are fenced. The facility is handicapped-accessible. Electronic scoreboards and playing field lighting are available for all four fields. Capability for full concessions. The facility offers convenient access to water. The facility accommodates; baseball, softball, disc golf, and motor sports. This facility is great for tournaments and special events.

Lake Alliance Softball Complex

Fox Memorial Park offers year-round outdoor recreation, including swimming, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing. Visitors can enjoy the swimming beach, cast a line from the ADA-accessible fishing pier, explore the trails or spend time at the picnic area and playground. The park is also home to the[Fox Park Observatory](https://www.eatoncounty.org/229/Fox-Park-Public-Observatory), offering a unique opportunity to take in the night sky.Families can also enjoy a variety of kid-friendly programs and special events throughout the year.

Picnic pavilions are available to rent for gatherings and special occasions, and restroom facilities are available on-site.

Fox Memorial Park

Everyone is invited to the Fox Park Public Observatory for a variety of observatory programs. Check the website for dates for Public Viewing Nights and Astrophotography Nights. The Observatory is located inside Fox Park in the far northwest corner of the park past the beach area and new restroom facility. Interested participants will need to park in the main parking lot and wear sturdy shoes/boots for the 200 yard trek up to the Observatory. This is an open air observatory so dress for the out of doors and bring mosquito protection. Public observation nights are suitable for people of all ages. Program fee is $2 per person or $5 per family. Public observation nights will not be held on nights with more than 30% cloud cover. You may call the Observatory (517-645-6666) during public viewing hours to check sky conditions. A great option to explore during down time between sports events.

Fox Park Public Observatory

The Mr. & Mrs. Bowling Tournaments are a series of four weekend bowling competitions in Michigan’s Capital City. Hosted at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl, these tournaments welcome both seasoned competitors and casual players for a fun, inclusive event.&#x20;

Mitten Kitten 2026 Slash Up XIII

Join the **Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament**, the premier lacrosse showcase for boys and girls teams in the Midwest. Hosted at the state-of-the-art Hope Sports Complex in Lansing, Michigan, this **October 10–11, 2026** event features high-energy competition across divisions from U10 to Varsity.&#x20;

Boys divisions play three guaranteed games on October 11, while girls divisions compete in 8v8 small-sided matches concluding by 2:00 PM on October 10, perfect for homecoming festivities.&#x20;

Midwest Fall Brawl Lacrosse Tournament

The **2nd Annual Comet Classic** is a collegiate bowling tournament hosted by The University of Olivet.  This one day event taking place at Royal Scot Golf & Bowl will feature approximately 30 teams.
