Cedar Breaks National Monument

Shaped like a giant coliseum, Cedar Breaks is a circle of painted cliffs and colorful rock spires and columns. There are hiking trails around the rim for use during the open season from late May to mid-October. The monument is a premier cross-country skiing and snowmobiling destination in the winter with access from Brian Head. Cedar Breaks is 23 miles east of Cedar City.
