The park includes 2 miles of ADA accessible 8' wide nature trails, trail benches, 2 playground structures, 2 wildlife observation decks, a boardwalk through a sedge meadow, picnic pavilion, interpretive and directional signage, and large playing field.

Fellowfield Discovery is a new ten-acre, 501(c)(3) non-profit, open space park and education center being built in Pittsfield Township, Michigan.

Rather than treating social justice and environmental health as separate issues, the park will invite visitors to explore how they intersect in our local landscape and its history.

Natural playscapes, interactive discovery stations, guided trails, ongoing stewardship projects, and educational programs will raise questions about our cultural roots and everyday decisions to better understand the problems we face today and build a path to a healthier tomorrow . . . for all of us.

Fellowfield Discovery Park

Not just a Sports bar with typical bar food, Oscar's Sports & Grill is a family friendly place with delicious food and great libations. They have a variety of choices, from burgers made with Knight's meat and freshly baked Benny's Bakery buns to Mexican entrees and other delicious platters. Oscar's Sports & Grill has formulated their menu based on customer feedback over 5 years and have even been voted the best food at taste of Saline! They pride themselves in customer satisfaction and are a casual place for the entire family. Come in as strangers and leave as friends.

This township acquisition, historic in both its size and richness of natural features, straddles two watersheds. The Huron River, and the Saline River, a tributary of the River Raisin. The park holds a Great Blue Heron colony of over 40 nests, a buttonbush swamp harboring threatened species, and numerous small wetlands, woods and meadows.  
  
The new parkland surrounds the township's previously acquired P.G. Palmer Park, 39 acres of woodland, wetlands, and open field, and the Morgan Road pump station, on 20 acres of mature woods.

Pittsfield Preserve Southeast

The Sutherland-Wilson farmstead has been acquired by Pittsfield Township to be preserved as an historic site. Restoration of the site -- and related programming -- is being undertaken by the Pittsfield Township Historical Society. The house on the farm is significant as the home of Pittsfield Township pioneers, Langford and Lydia Sutherland. Langford and Lydia Sutherland came to Pittsfield Township, Washtenaw County in 1832 with their two children. This property was designated a Centennial Farm in 1981. Through his mother, Mr. Harold Wilson, the present owner, is a direct descendant of Langford and Lydia Sutherland. This family may have been continuous residents of the township longer than any other.

Historic Sutherland-Wilson Farm

The Pittsfield Township Farmers Market is a weekly, summer market that features local and regional food and agricultural businesses, artisans, and entertainers. Stop by and pick up fresh produce, meats, and cheeses, baked goods, preserves and pickles, oils, and spices. Enjoy a snack or hot dinner while socializing with your neighbors and watching the children run around on the play ground. Kids specific activities and live entertainment will be featured on a rotating basis.

Brewed Awakenings Cafe is an independent, family-owned coffee shop cafe, who loves their community and sharing their passion for creating great food and drinks. In addition to a wide variety of coffee and espresso drinks, they offer an extensive food menu, including baked-from-scratch baked goods, paninis, sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups and other desserts.

We Rock the Spectrum – Ann Arbor was founded to provide a place for children of all ability levels to play and grow together. As the only kid’s gym that offers an inclusive philosophy, they have found all children can benefit from their uniquely designed sensory equipment that is specifically designed to aid children with sensory processing disorders.

All children are able to benefit greatly from this equipment and by allowing children of all ability levels to play together they are able to learn a great deal from each other and become the best motivation for success on every level.
