Cougar Creek Trail is a 6-foot-wide crushed gravel pathway that parallels the creek and connects NW 119 Street with the Salmon Creek Trail. Cougar Creek is the first major tributary upstream from the mouth of Salmon Creek and is the main watershed for the urbanized Hazel Dell area of Clark County.

The Salmon Creek Sports Association Complex is home of the Vancouver Girls’ Softball Association. VGSA has been serving the youth of SW Washington since 1963. Since its inception, VGSA has been dedicated to providing a place for young women to develop self-confidence and a sense of team effort through the game of fast pitch softball. This sports complex features four softball fields.

Salmon Creek Regional Park/Klineline Pond is a very popular place in Clark County to swim. It contains a bathhouse, roped swimming areas and observation platforms. The park also features 35 acres of developed parkland and is the eastern trail head for the Salmon Creek Greenway Trail.

This 3.1-mile one-way paved trail in North Vancouver winds along the banks of Salmon Creek. The 850 acres of the greenway, opened to the public in 1996, include forest, creeks, meadows and ponds. Along the path are wildlife interpretive areas, duck nesting boxes, and restored habitat. If you like birding, bring binoculars.

USTA PNW NTRP Sectional Championships

Established in 1904, the USTA Pacific Northwest is one of 17 sections of the United States Tennis Association, the governing body of tennis. Based in Beaverton, Oregon, the USTA PNW is a 501c3 charitable nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote and develop the growth of tennis in the Pacific Northwest.  Operating in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and northern Idaho USTA PNW over 25,000 individual adult and junior members and over 200 organization members and providers, such as tennis facilities and community tennis associations, who also help us to promote the sport.
